    New paper accepted! An Imaging-Informed Reaction-Diffusion Model of Infarct Growth accepted at 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐀𝐈 2026 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐒𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇+ 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩). Check out the arXiv preprint.

    Awarded a fully funded EPSRC Industrial Doctoral Landscape Award (IDLA) studentship in partnership with BT, covering tuition and an annual stipend for the four-year duration of the PhD.

    Received an unconditional offer for a Computer Science PhD at the University of Leicester, UK, researching agentic artificial intelligence for federated network digital twins. Starting September 2026.

  4. Aug 2026

    Concluded four and a half years as a Lecturer at GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences & Technology.

    Conducted a technical visit to NADRA Headquarters to review the delivered framework and its deployment possibilities.

Research

AI-based Service Request Analysis and Rate Limiting

Led an R&D project (RP #N-IS1-25-0006) for the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on fair and efficient use of national service resources. Built an unsupervised anomaly detection model over engineered behavioural features from roughly 671,000 service requests, and designed a behaviour-driven rate-limiting framework that maps continuous anomaly scores to graduated risk controls. The retrainable framework, trained models, and validation pipeline were delivered to NADRA in November 2025.

Careem Captain Fraud Detection

Explored data processing techniques and machine learning algorithms to automate fraud detection for Careem Captains (drivers). Careem is a leading ride-hailing provider in the Middle East.

Co-supervised

Solving PDEs with Physics-Informed Neural Networks

Developed and trained physics-informed neural networks for solving partial differential equations with a graduate student at GIK Institute. Improved PINN performance using Lie symmetry groups, and solved the Newell–Whitehead–Segel, Allen–Cahn, and Burgers' equations.

Journal article

Detecting Hidden Explosives and Narcotics

Developed a deep neural network approach for the rapid detection of hidden explosives and narcotics using multipulse Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance (NQR).

MS thesis

Neural Networks for Medical Image Segmentation

Developed and trained deep neural networks for medical image segmentation during my master's research, and collaborated with fellow graduate students on integrating active contour models into neural networks for medical image processing.

Skin Cancer Detection with CNNs and Vision Transformers

Applied transfer learning to fine-tune convolutional neural networks and vision transformers for the classification of cancerous skin lesion images.
